Maria Migliarese, 87, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Maria was born on June 21, 1935, in Minturno, Italy, daughter of the late Giovanni and Elvira Iasevoli Esposito.
Maria worked for Pitney Bowes for 21 years until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Rosary Society and the St. Padre Pio Rosary Society, a longtime member of the Minturnese Club of Stamford. Maria took great joy in gardening and cooking.
Maria is survived by her sisters Antoinette Camerota of Stamford and Philomena Barek of England, her beloved nephews Pat Camerota and his wife Jill of Stamford, John Camerota of Stamford, Tony Esposito and his wife Debbie of Seymour and John Esposito of Westbrook. Her cherished grandnephews Joseph, John, Victor Camerota, and Tommaso Esposito and her grandniece’s Gina Camerota and Nicole Esposito.
Besides her parents Maria was predeceased by her husband Vittorio Migliarese, brother Tommaso Esposito, and sisters Pasqualina Chadunkin and Civita Esposito.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 27, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Elm Street, Stamford, CT, at 11:00AM, Interment will follow at the St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT. Visitation will precede the funeral at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT from 8:30AM to 10:30AM
