Stylianos Kazantzidis

Stylianos “Steve” Kazantzidis, 87, of Stamford, Connecticut passed away November 27, 2021. He died peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, Theofili Kazantzidis, their children and grandchildren.
Stylianos was born in Russia, on January 1, 1934, to the late Hercules and Eftihia Kazantzidis. He immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1973 with his family. He was employed by Pitney Bowes until his retirement. He was a devoted member of his church and an active member of the PanHellenic Society. His family was his pride and joy. Fishing, casino visits and spending time with his friends were some of his favorite activities.
Stylianos is preceded in death by this brother, Paul Kazantzidis; brother-in-law Thanasis Manthos; and niece, Effe Kazantzidis Aronis.
Stylianos is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Theofili; his devoted children son Konstantinos and wife Maria, daughter Aliki Recanatini and husband Louie, daughter Marina Mlakar and husband Chris; his sisters, Maria Manthos, Georgia Athanasiadis (George), Zoe Konsoulas (Thanasis), Sofia Dinos (Nikos); adored grandchildren Stelios, Filitsa, Alexia, Christopher and Michaela and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford on Wednesday, December 1st from 10:00-11:00a.m.. Interment will follow at Woodland, Cemetery, Woodland Place, Stamford.
The family has entrusted The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory with final arrangements.
