Sue Miller
Sue Ann Miller, 72, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born on June 22, 1951 in Hartford CT to the late Charles and Eleanor King Clute.
Sue Ann attended Scared Heart Academy and graduated from the Univ of Conn. She worked in the Cardiology department at St. Joseph Hospital before finishing her career in administrator at Stamford UCONN. She enjoyed children and worked at 2 daycares after her retirement. She also volunteered as a Ha Ha Clown visiting sick patients and kids at Stamford Hospital. She attended church services daily at St. John’s Church and St Bridget Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister and member of the ministry to the homeless, hungry and people in need. She could often be spotted holding a prayer pad in her hands, praying for those in need. Those that knew her would often refer to her as the sweetest person they know who always has a positive spirit. She loved spending time with family and her granddaughters and cherished the many private talks she would have with her granddaughter Maya.
Sue Ann is survived by her sons; Carlos Miller and his wife Kelly, Alex Miller and Sean Miller, all of Stamford, her brother Charles Clute of Cape Cod, MA, her two loving granddaughters, Maya and Alyssa Miller and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT. A memorial lunch will follow at 12:30PM at Zody’s 19th Hole, 451 Stillwater Rd, Stamford, CT. Interment will be private and there will be no calling hours.
