Steven Saldibar

Steven L. Saldibar, 46, of West Haven, CT, passed away on March 21, 2023. He was born in New Haven, CT on October 3, 1976 to Rose Marie Angeletti Saldibar and the late Paul Saldibar.
Steve enjoyed a 15-year career as an RN at YNHH hospital where he was a well-respected and loved part of the hospital community and was honored to be able to help people every day. Before becoming a nurse, Steve was a part of the laborer’s union for several years.
Above all else, Steven was a devoted and loving husband to Jessica and an amazing father to Anthony and Gianna. He loved nothing more than spending time with them and his adoration for his beautiful family was apparent to all who knew him. He loved planning family vacations, watching Gianna dance, taking Anthony to Yankee games, and quiet evenings at home with his wife and kids. When he wasn’t working you could find him cheering on his favorite team, the Tennessee Titans or on the sidelines of his niece’s sporting events.
We will forever feel his loss but will cherish the years we were blessed to have him and hold him in or hearts always.
